Malibu Experience
The Wagon Wheel School experience centers on giving children the tools to express themselves with confidence and ignite a lifelong love of learning. By emphasizing creativity, strong problem-solving skills, and independent thinking, we build a strong foundation for healthy self-esteem. We focus on the development of the whole child, and seek to foster growth socially, emotionally, physically, and academically in the most holistic way possible.
Admission Process
Our school year starts each July, with new students typically around age 2. If your child turns 2 in August or September, they may still be considered; enrollment would begin on their 2nd birthday.
Each July, we welcome two new classes:
Young Toddlers (2.0–2.25 years) — 16 students, 2 teachers
Older Toddlers (2.25–3 years) — 20–21 students, 3 teachers
We also have four classes for older children, with occasional openings throughout the year. If your child will be around 4 by July, reach out; we're often looking for students in this age group.
Our Campus
Our spacious yard gives children room to roam beneath shady trees and coastal breezes, while a small garden area offers hands-on chances to plant, dig, and discover.
